P1 and P2 are children of P4. Who is P1's father? (1) P3 is P1's brother and P5's son. (2) P6 is P2's mother.
Solution: (2) alone. P6 is the mother, so P4 is the father of both. (1) gives the other parent but not who is male.
Watch out
