The idea
Two grammar blanks in one sentence: usually two prepositions (grateful to someone for something) or two verb forms that must fit one time line (reached … had left). This format appears in course books and in Rohtak/JIPMAT-style grammar sections. It tests the same rules as single-blank grammar, but the wrong options are built from one correct and one incorrect form.

Insert each pair and keep the one that reads correctly.
Exam method
- Pick the blank with the firmer rule. (agreement or a fixed preposition beats a tense choice).
- Eliminate. every option that fails it.
- Check the survivors on the other blank,. and watch for the correct pair in the wrong order.
- For verb pairs, draw the time line. mark which event is earlier and whether the time runs up to now.
