The idea
Four complete sentences are given; three contain one clear error each and one is correct. This appears in Rohtak and JIPMAT practice sets and older Indore mocks. It tests the same rules as the other two formats, but you must find the error yourself, with no bold part to point at it.

Read the four sentences and pick the one that sounds best.
Exam method
- Read sentence (A) with the checklist. subject-verb, tense and time words, pronoun case, opening phrase, comparison or pair, preposition or look-alike word, noun or article.
- Strike it when you find an error;. move to the next.
- The survivor is usually clear by (C). Check it once more against the checklist.
- If two survive,. reread both slowly, especially "along with / as well as", "each / neither", "than any", "whom… thought", and every opening "-ing" phrase.
