The exam method
- Same calendar. both ordinary or both leap, and the odd days in between total a multiple of 7 (2009 → 2015; 2023 → 2034).

Which year has the same calendar as 2009 (given 2008 began on a Monday)?
Solution: 2015. Odd days 2009-2014: 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 7; 2015 is ordinary like 2009.
Watch out
- Hypothetical calendars: "Suppose 2008 starts on a Monday" changes the days but not the counting.
