The idea of Person-attribute grid (3-4 variables)

Each person has one value of each attribute (city, sport, spouse, college), and the clues pair them up. JIPMAT asks a short single-question version almost every year (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026: games and subjects, couples, cities and transport). PW sets add a second attribute and four or five questions on one grid.

The exam method

  1. Direct clues first. Neha Tea and Cake, Rohit Hot Chocolate and Pastry.
  2. Pairs. Lemonade with Ice Cream, not Barun, so Ankit.
  3. Last free cell. Barun has neither Milkshake nor Coffee, so Soft drinks; Sameer has no Coffee, so Milkshake; Priya Coffee.
  4. Answer from the grid;. for combination options check every part.
