Lesson 2 of 3 · Months and dates with constraints
Month order
Scheduling (days/months/time slots) · for IPMAT Indore, IPMAT Rohtak and JIPMAT
Worked examples
Example 4Easy
Six exams, one a month from January to June. R is in April and P is two months after Q. Which months can Q take?
Solution: January or March. Q in February puts P in April (R's month), and Q in April is R's own month; Q in May or June leaves no month for P. So Q is in January or March.
Watch out
- Month boundaries: order dates across months, not by the day number alone.
